LONDON — The Emirates erupted in gold and white as Arsenal Football Club were confirmed Premier League champions for the 2025-26 season, securing their 14th English top-flight title and first since the historic “Invincibles” campaign of 2003-04.

Mikel Arteta’s side clinched the crown after Manchester City suffered a 1-1 draw a dramatic draw against AFC Bournemouth, with 82 points from 37 matches—a record of 25 wins, 7 draws, and 5 losses. And a game to spare, A formidable +43 goal difference, built on 69 goals scored and just 26 conceded, underscored a season defined by defensive resilience and clinical finishing.

Captain Martin Ødegaard and vice-captain Bukayo Saka led a squad that blended experienced heads with emerging talent. Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres topped the club’s scoring charts with 14 league goals, while goalkeeper David Raya earned the Premier League’s Golden Glove with 19 clean sheets.

The title race remained tense until the final weeks, with Manchester City applying relentless pressure. But Arsenal’s consistency—particularly at home, where they dropped just two points after December—proved decisive. A statement 5-0 demolition of Leeds United in August set the tone, while vital wins over Tottenham, Chelsea, and Newcastle demonstrated their big-game mentality.

For Arteta, the triumph validates a multi-year rebuild focused on culture, recruitment, and tactical discipline. “This is for the fans who never stopped believing,” the Spaniard said after the Burnley match. “The journey continues.”

With the Premier League trophy secured, attention now turns to Paris, where Arsenal face PSG in the UEFA Champions League final—potentially completing a historic double.
