The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has commenced activities for its 55th Convocation with a press briefing held today, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the UNN Business School Auditorium, Enugu Campus.
The four-day event, which runs from July 22 to July 25, 2026, will feature the conferment of degrees, diplomas, and certificates, as well as the award of honorary doctorates.

Highlights of the Convocation
This year’s convocation is expected to be well-attended, with graduands, parents, alumni, and dignitaries from across the country expected to grace the occasion.
A major highlight is the Convocation Lecture to be delivered by Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah. The lecture is themed around human development, experiential learning, and inclusive prosperity.
