Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has paid a courtesy visit to Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, where he expressed admiration for the visible progress and quality of governance in the state.The visit, which took place in Umuahia, saw the Nigerian international footballer engage with the governor on issues bordering on development and youth empowerment.
During the meeting, Chukwueze commended Governor Otti for the ongoing transformation of Abia, particularly the massive road infrastructure projects across the state. He noted that the level of development he observed was impressive and encouraging.The footballer, who hails from the South East, expressed delight at the pace of work being done under the current administration and encouraged the governor to sustain the momentum.
Governor Otti, while receiving the Super Eagles star, reiterated his administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for young people to thrive. He noted that Abia is open to partnerships that will further accelerate development and create opportunities for the youth.The governor also used the opportunity to highlight some of the key achievements of his administration in the areas of road construction, security, and ease of doing business.
Chukwueze’s visit and public commendation of the state’s progress is being viewed by many as a major endorsement of the Otti-led administration. It comes at a time when the governor has been receiving both local and national attention for his aggressive infrastructure renewal drive, especially in Aba and other parts of the state.
